UT Arlington helps students prepare for SAT math test

ARLINGTON - High school students preparing to take the SAT can find a helping hand on the fall math test at The University of Texas at Arlington's Fort Worth Center.

Free SAT math prep classes are from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, Feb. 6 and 20; March 27; April 10, 17 and 24; and May 15 and 22.

Tarrant County students may attend prep sessions at the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center, 1401 Jones St., Fort Worth. Dallas County students may attend sessions at Conrad High School, 7502 Fair Oaks Ave., Dallas.

No pre-registration is needed.

Each class covers different material, and students may attend as many classes as they wish. Instructions are available for beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.

Students should bring a pencil and a graphing calculator if available. A limited number of graphing calculators will be available on site. Students also may bring snacks or money to purchase snacks on campus.

Other sponsors for classes are The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas A&M University-Commerce and Midwestern State University.
