UT Arlington to sponsor free SAT/PSAT prep classes in Arlington, Fort Worth and Dallas

ARLINGTON - The University of Texas at Arlington is co-sponsoring a series of free SAT/PSAT math preparation classes this fall to help local high school students prepare for the important exams.
The Saturday sessions will be held at Summit International Preparatory, 1100 Roosevelt Street, in Arlington, UT Arlington's Fort Worth Center, 1401 Jones St., in Fort Worth and Emmett J. Conrad High School, 7502 Fair Oaks Ave., in Dallas. They are open to any public, private or home school students with at least a basic knowledge of algebra. Concept development as well as test-taking strategies will be discussed.
No pre-registration is required.
The Fort Worth and Dallas sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 and 25, Oct. 2, 9 and 23 and Nov. 6 and 13. The Arlington sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 and 25 and Oct. 2 and 9.
Students should bring their own calculators. Other materials will be supplied. Students also may bring snacks or purchase them on-site.
Other sponsors of the classes include Texas A&M University-Commerce, The University of Texas at Austin, Midwestern State University and The University of Texas at Dallas.
