University of Texas at Arlington is sponsoring free SAT math preparation
classes on several Saturdays this fall to help area high school and middle
school students prepare for the college entrance exam.
workshops are 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Sept. 22, 29 and Oct. 6, 13 and 27. Classes
will take place at two locations in Dallas. Those are: North Dallas High
School, 3120 N. Haskell Ave., and Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy, 4730 S.
program is open to public, private and home school students in grades eight
through 12. Students are not required to be residents of Dallas County to
attend. All participants must have a basic knowledge of algebra.
