    The UTA men's basketball team has risen to a No. 3 ranking among mid-major colleges in the CollegeInsider.com poll. The team also is ranked No. 18 in the NCAA's RPI rankings, a key tool that the NCAA Selection Committee uses to evaluate who gets into the NCAA Tournament.
