Thursday, February 23, 2017
Grand Prairie high school students now have a clear, streamlined path to a degree in education and a career as a bilingual or ESL teacher thanks to a new UTA partnership.
UTA and Grand Prairie ISD officially launched the Education & Leadership Preparatory Program. The program allows high school juniors and seniors to take dual credit courses through the University. After graduating from UTA and receiving their teaching certificate, Grand Prairie ISD will offer the students a pending contract for a full time teaching position.
