Networking - Dr. Maxine Adegbola is one of the
first two graduates of the PhD in Nursing program from UT Arlington.
Her dissertation was titled “The Relationships Among Spirituality,
Self-efficacy, and Quality of Life in Adults with Sickle Cell Disease.”
Dr. Adegbola joined UT Arlington in August 2008 as a faculty member
in the School of Nursing. Her perspective on networking is
fitting of her character as she interacts in various endeavors
throughout her career.
Persistence -
Dr. Gloria Carr received her PhD in Nursing degree in December 2007 from
UT Arlington. Her dissertation was titled “Concentration on
African American Grandmothers Caring for their Grandchildren.”
Mentoring - Dr. Kathryn Daniel,
received her PhD in Nursing degree in May 2008 from UT Arlington. Dr.
Daniel’s dissertation focused on “Clinical Significance of Chronic
Kidney Disease in the Elderly.
