PhD in Nursing - Outcome Objectives

The PhD Program in Nursing prepares nurse scientists who will:
  1. integrate knowledge from nursing and related disciplines which support the development of nursing innovations for diverse populations;


  2.  
  3. design studies for testing nursing innovations for diverse populations;


  4.  
  5. disseminate synthesis of knowledge for guiding nursing care of diverse populations;

  7. provide leadership in the policy process for diverse populations groups;

  9. model values consistent with integrity in science and professional nursing;

  11. collaborate with nurses and other professionals to affect improvements in health for diverse populations.
