Assessment of the Adult

This
workshop builds on the Registered Nurse’s knowledge and skills in physical
assessment of adults in healthy and illness states. The class content
utilizes a systematic approach to assessing health status and recognizing
health indices for the normal adult. Emphasis is on interpretation of
findings. Participants practice assessment skills throughout the sessions. |

Rural Health
Outreach Program (RHOP)
Through this special Center, we offer
on-site, affordable continuing education to health care professionals of
rural Texas. Topics offered to organizations are specially designed
for staff nurses and nurse managers in hospitals, nursing homes, home
health, hospice services, physician offices, and other health care
facilities. Contact hours are awarded based on the length of the

The Center for Nursing
Continuing Education is now offering customized Nursing and Healthcare

facility and topics are customized to meet the group’s particular needs.
