The LRC provides undergraduate and graduate students a place to develop, refine and apply knowledge in the clinical practice of skills to be a competent beginning (and advanced) practitioner. The skills lab provides a place for students (undergraduate, RN to BSN, and masters) to practice their clinical skills in assessment, bed-side patient care, and hands-on skills using the latest in simulation technology. We also have a Graduate Teaching Assistant to help undergraduate students develop competent clinical skills. The focus is to create a hospital-like environment for students at all levels of education to maximize their clinical skills.
