I have had the pleasure of working at The University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing from 1978 to present, starting as an instructor and currently holding the rank of professor. I have fulfilled a variety of leadership positions and am currently the Associate Dean for the Master's Program and also Graduate Advisor in the School of Nursing. One of my major goals has been to promote excellence in the preparation of nurse practitioners, administrators, and educators. The UTA graduates have made a significant impact on health care in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the State of Texas.
