Nursing has been a major part of my life for the last 35 years. I knew I wanted to teach nursing from my first experiences in a diploma program teaching Red Cross Mother and Baby classes. I have seen great changes and progress in nursing and nursing education. I continue to accept new challenges such as becoming an Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner. This helps me better prepare the nurses of the future and lets me retool for my retirement years.
