Being healthy and practicing healthy lifestyle behaviors has always been a part of who I am. Nursing was therefore, a logical professional choice for me because nursing focused on all aspects of health (health promotion, disease prevention, recovery, rehabilitation, and peaceful death) in diverse settings and in a variety of roles. I have practiced nursing as a clinician, administrator, educator and researcher. Throughout my career, nursing has provided unbelievable opportunities for growth and development and I continue to be grateful for all the experiences that nursing has given me.
