Parker,
MSN, RN, CS, ANP, GNP |
| I
dreamed of being a nurse before I was even 10 years old.
I was fascinated by the effect that nurses had on patients when I
would see them on television.
Then as a teenager, my family experienced a traumatic event in
which by brother was injured.
During his convalescence, it was his nurses that made all the
difference.
I envisioned one day being able to make such a positive impact on
my patients.
Today, I practice as an adult/geriatric nurse practitioner.
Never a day goes by that I am not thankful that I chose nursing.
My profession has had such an positive impact on my life and on the
care of my patients.
As an educator, I attempt to share these benefits and my knowledge
of caring for adults and seniors with my students.
