I enjoy sharing my
diverse experiences in advanced practice, management, and professional
organizations with students that embrace the challenge of learning to
promote nursing practice excellence. As a clinical nurse specialist and
nurse practitioner, my clinical specialty areas are emergency care, trauma,
and interventional cardiology. Education is my passion, and I am constantly
trying to find new methods to enhance students’ learning processes. I have
been teaching at UTA part time since 1981, and full time since 1998.
