Nursing’s next graduation is May 11, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the new Events Center at College Park
Graduation, (earning a degree) is an exciting accomplishment and the Commencement Ceremony is an opportunity to recognize the degree candidates. All candidates for graduation are encouraged to invite their family and friends to help them celebrate this significant milestone.
GUESTS
Guests over the age of two must have a ticket to attend the ceremony. Instructions for downloading tickets for guests will be provided to graduation candidates by e-mail when the RSVP is completed. Guest seating is on a first-come first-seated basis. Please arrive early for preferred seating. NOTE: Guests arriving more than 10 minutes after the start of commencement cannot be seated. We also request that a certain level of decorum be maintained during the ceremony – as such, we ask that no noise makers be brought into the commencement ceremony.
GRADUATION CANDIDATES
RSVP – all degree candidates must RSVP but no RSVP is required for guests.
Graduating students must wear regalia in the ceremony. The on-campus Bookstore has bachelor’s and master’s regalia available for purchase and doctoral regalia for purchase or rent. Please secure your regalia as soon as possible.

All graduates will be photographed during the commencement ceremony. Complimentary proofs will be mailed to the graduates the week after the ceremony. Questions about photographs should be addressed with FLASH Photography http://www.flashphotography.com/.

Commencement will be held in UTA’s Events Center at College Park Center on S. Pecan Street.
Parking for this ceremony is recommended in Lots 47, 53, F10, Lipscomb Lot and Continuing Education Lot. It is likely that lots north of the College Park Center may still be occupied from the previous ceremony when your guests arrive, but overflow parking is available north of the College Park Center in the College Park Garage on UTA Boulevard at Center Street, or in Lots 38, 39, F11 and F12. There will be a drop off for guests with mobility issues at Pecan and 3rd Streets and handicapped parking will be available in Lot F13 across Pecan Street, accessible from 4th Street.
