- BSN from NLNAC or CCNE Accredited Program
- 3.0 GPA on last 60 hours of BSN
- GRE waived if GPA is 3.0 of higher
- 2.8-2.99 GPA – GRE required with minimum score of 430 on verbal; 430 on quantitative section; OR 3.0 on the analytical writing section (Best 2 of 3 sections)
- Unencumbered RN license in Texas
- Basic statistics course with a minimum grade of "C"
- Computer expertise (Excel class)
- 200 word essay about reasons for pursuing a graduate degree
- Two years clinical experience as an RN
- International students – TSE, TOEFL or IELTS required and experience as RN in the United States.

- The GMAT is required unless the following criteria are met:
3.0 GPA on last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework; five or more years of progressive health care industry experience. You have (within the last 3 years) or will receive an undergraduate degree from UT Arlington with a GPA of 3.2 or higher, as calculated by the graduate school You have an earned graduate degree in an appropriate field
