- BSN from NLNAC or CCNE accredited Program
- 3.0 GPA on last 60 hours of BSN
- GRE waived if GPA is 3.0 of higher
- 2.8-2.99 GPA - GRE required with minimum score of 430 on verbal; 430 on quantitative section; OR 3.0 on the analytical writing section (Best 2 of 3 sections)
- Unencumbered RN license in Texas
- Basic statistics course with a minimum grade of "C"
- Computer expertise (Excel class)
- 200 word essay stating reasons for pursuing a graduate degree
- Two years clinical experience as an RN
- International students - TSE, TOEFL or IELTS required and experience as RN in the United States.

- The GMAT is required for all applicants to the MBA program. GRE is an acceptable substitute
- International students - TOEFL or acceptable IELTS score must be submitted unless a bachelor's degree is earned by an accredited college in the United States
- An essay stating your reasons for wanting to pursue a graduate degree
- Three letters of recommendation
