The 30th Annual Telly Awards have selected a video production submitted by the UT Arlington School of Nursing to receive two Telly Awards. “What is a Nurse Scientist” won a Bronze Telly Award for Art Direction and a Bronze Telly Award for Editing. This student project focuses on nurse scientists and is 1 of 6 video productions (3 student projects and 3 in-house productions) produced by the Learning Resource Center (LRC) staff, selected to receive Telly Awards. The staff of the LRC have experience in video production, film, and stage. This staff’s combined talent coupled with that the school’s creative students and faculty have allowed us to produce award winning videos recognized for covering Social Issues, their use within Public Relations, and for their artistic value with Videography/Cinematography, Editing, and Art Direction. The highest award given is a Silver Telly and the Learning Resource Center has received 9 Bronze and 1 Silver during the past 3 years. Founded in 1978, the Telly Award is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.
