The STARS program introduces high school students to nursing at a summer camp each year held at the School of Nursing. Students  utilize equipment in the Learning Resource Center and are taken to area hospitals to tour the facilities.

Standardized patients are specially trained actors who interact with the students. We also use these actors to serve as family members in clinical teaching scenes.
