In 2009, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board created a designation of “high performing school” for nursing schools who have both an undergraduate pre-licensure graduation rate and a first-time NCLEX pass rate of 85% or higher. Out of approximately 100 nursing schools in the state, the College was 1 of 13 schools in 2009 and 1 of 9 in 2010 to receive this designation. Graduation rates and NCLEX pass rates continue to be at 94% and 93%.
National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) pass rates for first-time test-takers have been above state and national averages for the past 5 years. Pass rates for our online students equals the success of our on-campus students.
