The University Of Texas Board Of Regents has passed Regents Rule 50402, which now requires only F1, F2, J1 and J2 enrolled international students to have medical insurance compliant with the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
Please sign-up for a 15 minute appointment on Wednesday, September 30th with a board certified immigration attorney from Rabinowitz & Rabinowitz, P.C. at the Office of International Education, located in the Swift Center. The time frames for these appointments, starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m., are not flexible so please arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment start time. If you are tardy or miss your appointment, you will lose that opportuninty and cannot reschedule. Limited to one appointment per student. Your PHYSICAL PRESENCE ADDRESS must be your address in the USA and your address information must conform to SEVIS guidelines for the duration of your program regardless of whether you are in the United States or temporarily outside the U.S. If you move, you must update your address within 10 days.
