These programs earn Pass/Fail resident UTA credit and they are financial aid eligible (you must see a Study Abroad Advisor to discuss using financial aid on these programs). They afford a wide variety of choices when considering a location for a study abroad program.
Denmark's International Studies offers study abroad for a semester, year or summer in Copenhagen - where Europe is a little different. Enhance your major, broaden your horizons, and acquire valuable cross-cultural skills with other motivated, curious and energetic students from selective schools in the US and other nations. DIS provides challenging courses taught in English, cross-cultural training for the global job market, opportunities to live with the Danes and Copenhagen and Europe as your classroom.
These programs do not earn resident UTA credit but they do offer a wide variety of choices when considering a location for a study abroad program.
There are many study abroad programs throughout the world that may interest UTA students but that are not affiliated in any way with UTA. Students should be aware that they cannot use UTA financial aid on these programs. However, one of these programs may have exactly what you are looking for in a study abroad exprience and, therefore, they should at least be considered.
Use studyabroad.com to explore some of these other study abroad options.
The Study Abroad Library in the Office of International Education has literature from many programs offered through other colleges and organizations. Stop in and browse the literature, chances are you will find something interesting.
