Position Summary: Over twenty years experience providing technology solutions and improving business processes at several Fortune 500 companies in various industries. Served as Director, Enterprise Information Services at the University of Texas at Arlington from 2004 until 2009, and is now serving as the Director, UT System Shared Applications.
Bill has over twenty years experience providing technology solutions and improving business processes at several Fortune 500 companies in various industries. He is very actively involved in his community and has served as the Board Chairman/President of several large, non-profit organizations. He was appointed by the Arlington, Texas Mayor and City Council to be on the City’s Planning & Zoning Commission (served as Vice-Chair) and the Citizens Bond Review Commission. Bill was honored with the prestigious 2003 Tom Vandergriff (past City Mayor) Leadership Award, and was also nominated for the 2005 Fort Worth Star-Telegram Man of the Year award.
Bill has an MBA in Finance and International Business from the UT Arlington, a BS in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, an eCommerce Professional Certification from Southern Methodist University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
