Requesting Visitor, Guest, Vendor and Event Accounts
All requests for Visitor, Guest, Vendor and Event accounts need to be made through the Help Desk's ITHelp system.
How to Get:
In order to create a visitor /guest/vendor NetID account a full-time staff member from the sponsoring department will need to prepare and submit the online request form at IT Help. We will not create NetID accounts that have been requested from a student account or from an account that has any of the following job titles.
Event guest accounts are created for people attending an official University event of some sort for which access to computing resources is needed. Event account gives access only to the general UTA network, including domain login, Resnet, and Wireless. In order to create a NetID account for an event a full-time staff member from the sponsoring department will need to prepare and submit the online request form at https://ithelp.uta.edu.
If the username has a work title like the ones listed above or if the request comes from a student account, then e-mail the client and let him/her know that the account cannot be created unless it is requested by an authorized person at the department.
