NH - Collaboration Lounge
Today’s students grew up with media, computers and internet. As a result they bring in different expectations. In an effort to support this changing landscape, OIT is introducing another Laptop Friendly Collaborative Space on campus. Our goal as an OIT team is to provide access to cutting edge technology and resources which enables students to function at their highest level, and to become the new leaders in the global marketplace.
Food friendly space that allows all students to collaborate, unwind, recharge, and meet.
This is your perfect spot for a small team to get together and quickly bring each other up to speed or a great collaboration corner where everyone has an equal ability to engage and contribute, and create a richer meeting experience.
The Nedderman Hall Lounge is equipped with:
- High speed Wireless Internet
- Media Scape units (Collaboration Station) – These are High-Definition displays and offer multiple laptop connections so a group of students can see and share documents.
- Access to Network b/w printer
- Comfortable furniture integrated with technology to suit individual and group needs
- ADA compliant
- Accommodates 20+ students
- Lots of power outlets for laptops and other devices
- Can be reserved for small group gatherings
