Purchase Requirements for Students

Q:How do I get my Software?
A:
If you are attending a credit earning course/class at UT Arlington, you are allowed by the Microsoft Campus Agreement to purchase software for your home computer.
  1. Come to the UT Arlington Computer Store in Ransom Hall (First floor) room 113.

  2. Complete and sign the End User License Agreement (EULA) form that is available in the store.

  3. Show your valid UT Arlington Student ID/Mav Express Card.

  4. Make your software purchase. We accept many forms of payment. Cash, Check, Credit and Debit. UT Arlington departmental purchases are welcome with an IDT account number or ProCard.

  • In order to purchase the Microsoft software from the computer store, you must have a valid UT Arlington Student ID/Mav Express card.

  • Purchase from our Online Store and have it shipped to you or you may mail in your request using the distance education form accessed from the link below.

  • Summary of Student End User License Agreement (EULA) listed below.

  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software product.

  • The software product is licensed as single product and the components may not be separated.

  • You may not rent, lease, or lend the software product.

  • Software acquired under a Microsoft Select Licensing Program does not include any free telephone support.

  • You may not transfer your rights under this Student End User License Agreement (EULA).

  • Microsoft may terminate this Student EULA for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the Student EULA. If this occurs, you must cease use and destroy all copies of software product obtained under this Student EULA.

  • You are allowed to purchase only one (1) copy of the available products.When new versions come available under the campus agreement and if you are still an active student, faculty or staff of UT Arlington you are then eligible to purchase that new version.

Purchase Requirements for Faculty/Staff

Q: How do I get my Software?
A: If you use a computer at UT Arlington, you are allowed by the Microsoft CA to install the same software on your home computer.

  1. First, fill out a Faculty/Staff Verification Form

  2. Come to the UT Arlington Computer Store and buy your software.

If for any reason you leave the UT System, you are required, under the terms of the CA, to remove the software from your home system.
