Desktop Universal Image
The Desktop Universal Image is provided quickly and consistently
install standard OIT software and settings, without needing to install
every program from scratch. The Universal Image includes:
- Desktop Supported Operating Systems
- Latest Office Productivity Suite
- PDF Viewer
- Web Browser
- Security Software
- Common plug-ins
Desktop installs the Universal Image (UI) on new machines, and machines
which are having major software problems or which need new hard drives.
Clients may install additional software after the UI is installed if
needed. Installing the UI removes all data from the hard drive, so it
is important to backup personal data to the network or external media.
