Student J: Drive

 [Printer Friendly Version]

Every student is allocated 100 Mb of network storage space, commonly referred to as J: drive. The files in this storage space are backed up on a nightly basis.

J: drive is mapped to your account automatically and shows up under My Computer when logging on the computers on the UTA domain.

You can also map this drive manually if you are connected to the UTA network using VPN (off campus) or encrypted wireless (on campus). An alternative to mapping the drive would be accessing it using FTP software.

Map your J: drive on Windows

Mount your J: drive on Mac

Access your J: drive using FTP software
