Create Multifunction Networked Printer Copier Scanner Recommendation Criteria
It is the intent of this project to determine the criteria by which a recommendation as to which MPCS will be supported by OIT. Individual NPCS, which are connected directly to one computer are not in the scope of this project. These devices must be network printers and copiers. Some employ digital sending technology, scan, and fewer add faxing capability. Ultimately, we wish to ascertain whether it is more efficient and cost effective to utilize a single MFP unit as opposed to several stand alone scanners, printers, and copiers within a department.
