Function: ANSYS is one of the many computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools available within the ANSYS Workbench platform. It takes advantage of data and information common to many simulations. Users can link to existing native computer-aided design (CAD) packages as well as crate and/or modify CAD models in an intuitive solid modeling environment. For more information, visit ANSYS page

Known Issues:
ANSYS 12.0 uses commercial licenses by default. To change to academic licenses, exit all ANSYS 12.0 applications, then:
Start -> All Programs -> ANSYS 12.0 -> ANSYS Client Licensing -> User License Preferences
Under "Global Settings" select "Use Academic Licenses", then click "OK" and click "OK" again to close User License Preference
