Function:
ANSYS FLUENT software is a powerful and flexible general-purpose computational fluid dynamics (CFD) package used for engineering simulations of all levels of complexity. It offers a comprehensive range of physical models that can be applied to a broad range of industries and applications.
FLUENT package contains: FLUENT - the solver, GAMBIT - the preprocessor for geometry modeling and mesh generation, TGrid - an additional preprocessor that can generate volume meshes from existing boundary meshes. For more information, visit FLUENT website.

Known Issues: Internet Explorer 7 or above is required. Client's Windows machine is required to be in uta.edu domain (Not workgroup) in order for the installation to work properly.

- Our license grants the software's use by UTA faculty and students for academic use or non-commercial research.
Obtaining the Software
Please submit a software request to the OIT Help Desk. http://www.uta.edu/oit/cs/helpdesk/full.php Please provide the following information so that we may promptly assist with the software's installation.
- The system or systems administrator's name and contact information consisting of phone number and e-mail address.
- The target system's Operating System architecture such as Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Computer Name of target system or systems to receive the software installation
- System's UTA Asset tag number
Installation:
This software is a bundled program of the AnSYS 13 Suite program. Therefore its installation will necessitate that the entire AnSYS 13 suite be deployed to the individual's system.
