Setup iChat
Description:
The following instructions are meant for Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" and newer.
How to Use:
- Open iChat and click the Continue button on the welcome screen.
- Select Jabber from the Service drop down menu.
- Your Account Name will be in the form NetID@talk.uta.edu and your password will be the same as your NetID password. Click Continue when you're ready.
- Click Done.
- If you are prompted with the following message, click the Show Certificate button.
- Check the "Always trust" option and click Continue.
- Enter your Computer's Administrator login to save the changes.
