Change in Daylight Saving Time for 2007. For your computer to display the correct time during the Daylight Saving Time period, you will need to install some updates. First if you are running 10.3.0 to 10.3.8, you will need to install the10.3.9 combo update. Once you have installed 10.3.9 you will need to install the Daylight Saving Time Update (Panther) v.1.0and Java for Mac OS X 10.3, Release 5 v.5.0. These updates can also be downloaded and installed by running System Preferences:Software Update.

The Daylight Saving Time change will also effect MS Office X and 2004. The patch for MS Office 2004 is within the MS Office 2004 11.3.3 update. The patch can also be found on Desktop Support's Mac Server Uranus or by using the MacHD/Applications/Microsoft AutoUpdate application. There is no patch for MS Office X. It is recommended that you upgrade to MS Office 2004 if your computer meets OIT requirements for MS Office 2004.
