Discover new 3D editorial capabilities, improved character animation, increased performance, and a reinvigorated user interface. Autodesk Maya 2011 software enables you to:
  • Create better characters in less time—Create skinned characters with more realistic deformations in less time and repurpose existing animation data more easily with Autodesk® Maya® 2011 software next-generation animation tools and workflows.
  • Explore previsualization and virtual moviemaking—Layout and manage multiple camera shots in a single animation sequence with new 3D editorial capabilities. You can also exchange data with editing systems such as Apple® Final Cut Pro® and Avid via EDL.

How to Get:

This software can be installed on UT Arlington assets only. Clients will need to provide the following information: name, NetID, machine name and UT Arlington inventory number when they contact the OIT Help Desk. A call ticket will then be created and assigned to the appropriate group. To better serve our clients, we are setting up software packages on a software distribution server. Faculty, and staff will receive an email with a link to click on to begin the software installation.
