Install and Configure Deep Freeze Enterprise for Lab Client—Quick Guide

Description:

The following instructions are for use in installing Deep Freeze Enterprise for Departmental Lab computers. This is a quick guide for those experienced with the Deep Freeze install process.

How to Get:

See Install and Configure Deep Freeze Enterprise for Lab Image.

How to Use:

1. Make the appropriate changes to Windows XP Startup settings.
2. Install Antivirus for Deep Freeze Lab Client.
3. Copy DepFrz.rdx, BigRedButtonLogger.vbs, and msupdat.bat [from here] to C:\WINDOWS\security.
4. Install Deep Freeze Enterprise Configuration Administrator.
5. Set Deep Freeze Password in accordance with client's request.
6. Save the modified Deep Freeze configuration file its current location [C:\WINDOWS\security] .
7. Create the Deep Freeze Workstation Installation Program, save to C:\WINDOWS\security].
8. Remove Deep Freeze Enterprise Configuration Administrator.
9. Install the Workstation Installation Program.
10. Disable and enable Deep Freeze to ensure the program is functioning properly.
11. Ensure  Deep Freeze is in a disabled state, prior to creating the Lab Image.
