Obtaining and Installing FLUENT Gambit Documentation (Windows)

Description:
The instructions on this page are for university owned machines only that have "Property of UT Arlington" asset tags, also referred to as UTA assets in this document. These are typical faculty/staff office computers that are connected to the UTA network. Please contact our Help Desk for instructions on how to obtain FLUENT for computer labs utilizing an imaged based deployment, such as Symantec Ghost.
How to Get:
Click Start > Run and type (or copy and paste) \\ghost1\software$\fluent\6.3.26\Gambit\2.4.6\documentation\Gambit_Doc_install-ntx86-2.4.exe and click OK. You will be prompted for your UTA NetID and password. Enter the NetID in the form of uta\NetID.
How to Use:

Click Start > Run and type (or copy and paste) \\ghost1\software$\fluent\6.3.26\Gambit\2.4.6\documentation\Gambit_Doc_install-ntx86-2.4.exe and click OK. You will be prompted for your UTA NetID and password. Enter the NetID in the form of uta\NetID.

Click Next when the installation dialog box appears.

Click the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button, click Next, and follow online installation instructions.

Leave the installation directory as C:\Fluent.Inc\gambit 2.4.6\ and click Next.

Review the installation settings and click Install to start the installation process. You will be presented with the progress dialog box.

Click Next when the installation completes.

Click Finish to end Gambit documentation installation.
