How to Get:
On Campus
- Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection (FEP) is automatically installed on all Windows XP and Windows 7 computers that are a member of the UTA domain using SCCM. Visit "Advertised Programs" to ensure you have SCCM installed and working properly on your computer.
Off Campus and Personal Use
- Download from software downloads
Installation:
On Campus
- You will not have to do anything to receive this upgrade except ensure the machines you are responsible for are plugged into the network and turned on. The only thing you may notice during the upgrade is a small warning flag while the antivirus switches from FCS to FEP.
Off Campus and Personal Use
- Prerequisites for Deploying Forefront Endpoint Protection can be found here. Download and install the program from software downloads. After installing the program will be in your programs menu as well as in the system tray of Windows.
