    1. Run FixKB908531.exe to install the security update.
      • Start > Run > \\microsys\public\OFC2003\FixKB908531.exe
    2. Restart the computer.
  • Problem:  Outlook 2003 is unable to open file attachments sent from Mac OS X. (Microsoft Knowledge Base Article KB945432)
  • Solution:  Use windows updates to install needed patches.
Other Concerns:

E-mail rules created by a client application of a Microsoft Exchange Server only apply to the local machine where they are created. They cannot be applied to the mail box on the server. In order for the rule to run the client email application must be open.

Considering the number of email accounts, and quantity of e-mail we receive, allowing client rules on the server would make mail processing far too inefficient and place an undue burden on the servers.

Information for setting up e-mail rules can be found at Microsoft Office Online Outlook Help Website.
