Enable/Disable Your Network Connection

Description:
For the instructions below, if your computer is connected to the network with an Ethernet cable, your active connection is labeled "Local Area Connection". If your computer is using Wireless Internet, your active connection will be labeled "Wireless Network Connection".
How to Use:
To enable your network connection follow these instructions:
- From the Start menu, select Control Panel, or Settings and then Control Panel.
- Double-click Network Connections. Right-click your connection, and select Enable.
To disable your network connection follow these instructions:
- From the Start menu, select Control Panel, or Settings and then Control Panel.
- Open Network and Internet Connections. Double-click Network Connections. Right-click your active connection(s, and select Disable.
