Automated Software Updates
Machines on the UTA domain will receive automatic updates to standard software packages. Receiving automatic updates is useful because it ensures that your machine is protected from known security vulnerabilities.
Please be aware that high-priority updates can be provided outside of this schedule if a high-risk vulnerability must be addressed, or if a major software change is necessary. Major software changes will be announced via MavWire.
If your department would like to have your University-owned machine added to the UTA domain, please contact the OIT Help Desk.
