Known Issues: VMware vCenter 5.5 require Mac OS X 10.5 (Intel), 10.6, or 10.7. vCenter 5.5 will not install on OS X 10.8.
How to Get: Download the VMware vCenter installer from the downloads web page.
Installation:
Download the VMware vCenter disk image from the Software Download page.
Open the downloaded VMware-VCM dmg file.
Open the mounted VMware-VCM disk image.
Open the Install VMware VCM installer file.
Go through the installer windows and authenticate with an administrator's username and password when prompted.
There will be a long pause between entering the administrator's username and password and the "VMware VCM 5.5.0 is installed" message that will appear once the install is complete.
