  1. What can I do if I am unable to connect to VPN?
  2. Can I connect or setup VPN from on-campus?

Question: What can I do if I am unable to connect to VPN?

Follow these steps of you are having trouble connecting to VPN:

  1. Make sure that your internet is working by opening a web browser and going to a few sites, such as: http://www.uta.edu, http://www.cnn.com
  2. Install the latest Cisco Any Connect VPN client from Off-campus at https://vpn.uta.edu
  3. Make sure that your VPN client is connecting to vpn.uta.edu, especially if you are reconnecting from a timed-out session.

Question: Can I connect or setup VPN from on-campus?

No. VPN is designed to connect to campus from off-campus to complete tasks such as, but not limited to: Remote Desktop, Outlook Exchange, Define, etc.
