Changing your NetID password and your SecureDoc password can be done at the same time, and most efficiently from a computer that is on campus and connected to UTA wired ethernet network.
- Power on the computer and login with your current credentials.
- When Windows is finished logging into your account (you can see your desktop), press Control-Alt-Delete.
- Select Change Password
- Provide the requested old and new passwords.
Question: I changed my password using self-service, and now I can't login to SecureDoc. What do I do?
SecureDoc and possibly Windows will have your old password on your computer. You can continue to use this until you return to campus.
- Once you're on campus and have an ethernet connection to the UTA Network
- Restart your computer. SecureDoc may still take the old password at this time.
- Windows should request your new password.
- After you can see your desktop, shut down the computer.
- Power the computer back on, and try your new password.
- Repeat until SecureDoc has accepted your new NetID password.
