How to Use:
Printing in OIT Computing Facilities
Student Organizations are assigned a $100.00 prorated printing allowance for the academic year. This allowance can be used for printing through MavOrgs by contacting them through email at mavorgs@uta.edu.
UTA Mailing List Services
Student Organizations can request a new mailing list as well as subscribe to or unsubscribe from lists we host at UT Arlington.
Official Web Pages
OIT provides 100 MB of free web space for official UT Arlington Student Organizations. The university has two main types of web servers - www.uta.edu running on Linux and www2.uta.edu and www3.uta.edu running on Windows. If you are starting a new site for your organization, you can request an account on the server of your choice here.
Maverick Wiki Service
The Maverick Wiki service makes it easy for Student Organizations and their colleagues to share information with each other, the UT Arlington community, and with the world. Student Organizations can use this service for community news, group announcements, meeting agendas, notes, collaborative writing, and more. To request a Wiki space for your organization, click here.
Maverick Blogs Service
UT Arlington provides all students, faculty, and staff the ability to create their own blog. Your Student Organization could use this service as a collaborative space, a breaking-news outlet, or a place to post links specific to your organization. Training and Documentation Services
The OIT Training and Documentation group provides free computer classes covering topics such as MacOS, HTML, MavSpace, MavMail, MS Office 2007, MyMav and others. In addition to our free computer classes, we are available to provide customized training and orientation services for your organization.
