Information Security Office

The mission of the UT Arlington Information Security Office (ISO):

1) Develop, monitor and enforce practices to ensure that administrative and academic information is secure from unauthorized access, protected from inappropriate alteration, physically secure, and available to users in a timely fashion.

2) Identifies and addresses exposures to accidental or intentional destruction, disclosure, modification, or interruption of information that may cause serious financial and/or information loss to the University.

3) Coordinates the handling of security incidents, recoveries, breaches, intrusions, and/or system abuses with the appropriate department or external agency.

4) Protects University assets and information that are processed by or stored in University computerized information systems.
