Architecture/Infrastructure Advisory Committee (AIAC)

IT Architecture is the logic for organizing data, applications, and infrastructure, captured in a set of policies, relationships, and technical choices to achieve desired business and technical standardization and integrations. IT Infrastructure is the foundation of planned IT capability (both technical and human) available throughout the business as shared and reliable services and used by multiple applications. In the typical enterprise, infrastructure accounts for about 55 percent of the total IT investment.  The AIAC often includes telecommunications, network services, large scale computing (servers), management of shared customer databases, research and development, enterprise internet, and more.
