Project Management Office Portfolio
The PMO's project portfolio is a finite collection of strategic initiatives designed to help the university collaborate its campus leadership and technical talent to achieve executive level goals. While many projects are important, these endeavors are expected to have a significant impact on the academic and/or business processes of the university and are therefore managed with formal project management methodology, higher leadership visibility, and firm resource commitments.
The project portfolio is designed to help the university gather and view information all of its major projects, then sort and prioritize each project according to certain criteria, such as strategic value, impact on resources, cost, and so on. The portfolio provides campus visibility promoting transparency of major undertakings, project prioritization, and resource involvement.
