Printing on Campus

You can print from both the computers in the OIT computer labs and your personal laptop. Please visit our Pharos Printing page for setup instructions.

OIT and the University Library have implemented a Student Print Management Program with a generous yearly quota, prorated by semester to be given to each student. The quota system is regulated through your Mav Express Card, which must be swiped to print pages. Although the quota allowance is given as a dollar amount, a money credit is not being added to the card. This is a printing credit only. Even if you do not use all of the printing allowance credit, a cash refund will not be given. More information on the printing quota system is available online at Pharos Printing page. Students enrolling in this Summer 2007 will be assigned a $30.00 printing allowance for the summer semesters. For future semesters, the allocation will be as follows:

  • Students enrolling at UT Arlington for the first time in a spring semester will receive a $70 quota for the spring and summer semesters combined, which is equivalent to 700 black-and-white pages printed on one side of paper or 933 black-and-white pages printed on both sides of paper (duplex).

  • Students enrolling at UT Arlington for the first time in a summer semester will receive a $30 quota for the summer semester, which is equivalent to 300 black-and-white pages printed on one side of paper or 400 black-and-white pages printed on both sides of paper (duplex).

  • Students enrolling in a fall semester (both new and continuing students) will receive a $100 quota for the full academic year, which is equivalent to 1,000 black-and-white pages printed on one side of paper, or 1,332 black-and-white pages printed on both sides of paper (duplex).
