Activities Fair
Get involved! The Activities Fair is a great opportunity for you to learn about what UT Arlington has to offer! Your closest friends in college are often times the ones you make in the residence halls and in organizations, clubs, intramural sports and fraternities or sororities. This annual event is the perfect chance for you to visit with these groups, make connections, and get involved early!
How should I prepare for the Activities Fair?

- Visit the UT Arlington homepage , the Student Organizations webpage , and the Apartment and Residence Life homepage to get acquainted with our numerous student organizations and what UT Arlington has to offer you.
- Come prepared with questions you may have for different groups you have interest in.
- Visit the 2008 Maverick Orientation Leader page to get an idea of what types of groups and organizations they are a part of.
- You will attend various interest sessions of your choice on how to get involved in college prior to the activities fair. Use this time to identify some groups you might like to get involved with. Visit these groups at the activities fair and talk one-on-one about ways to be involved with that organization.
- You might come in thinking you’ll join one group, but end up loving another that you did not consider. Go with an open mind ready to see what UT Arlington has to offer for you!
