University College
University College is an academic department whose purpose is to assist students in achieving their academic goals at the University. They provide tutoring, counseling, seminars, graduate school preparation, supplemental instruction, course reviews, study groups and other support services by trained staff who are dedicated to helping students reach their full academic potential.
Counseling & Career Development
Counseling Services offers multiple programs and services to assist undergraduate students. These include personal, academic, and career counseling, a college adjustment course, testing, and career services. Contact Counseling Services: 817.272.3671
Shuttle
If you’re on campus and don’t have a car, then it’s Mav Mover to the rescue! Although the City of Arlington does not provide public mass transportation, the University shuttles offer transit to select locations. The Mav Mover operates every Saturday (except holiday weekends) from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Contact the Transportation Department for more information: 817.272.2848.
On-Campus Banking
Wells Fargo and The University of Texas at Arlington have teamed up to offer you a convenient, one-card solution with the Mav Express Card, allowing you to have free access to Wells Fargo® ATM’s and to make purchases at merchant locations that accept PIN-based transactions. It’s the easy way to access cash and to purchase books, CDs, groceries, and more – on and off campus.

University College Programs
This office assists students in the academic and personal dimensions of college life. Programs include OneBook and the Maverick Scholars Learning Communities (Freshman Interest Groups).
Office for Students with Disabilities
Accommodations are offered through Disability Services to maximize the abilities of students with disabilities as they participate in the full spectrum of college life. Accommodations and services include test accommodations, interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing, volunteer note-copying arrangements, and E-text and auxiliary aids.
Student Legal Services
The Attorney for the Students provides legal advice and counsel to eligible students. Assistance is provided to address legal issues such as landlord-tenant disputes, consumer complains, breach of contract, family issues, probate and automobile accidents.
Health Services
The Student Health Center includes a medical clinic, mental health services, and a pharmacy for the UT Arlington campus community. Staffing includes physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, clinical psychologists, as well as a health educator and substance abuse prevention coordinator.
Parent and Family Center
This Parent and Family Center is designed to help parents, families and students with their informational needs. The center will direct inquiries and answer questions about academic and non-academic issues. The Parent and Family Center also sponsors Parents Weekend and provides information and other services to parents and families.
